Our client, an established hotel and gastronomy business with approx. 25 rooms in an attractive location by the lake, is looking for a host personality with very good leadership qualities and a hands-on mentality to complement the management. The business combines 3 F&B areas. In addition to an a-la-carte restaurant, various banquet and event possibilities, there is a beautiful outdoor area where especially regional guests enjoy the view and the fine food and drinks. The company is in an exciting development phase with planned investments and growth perspectives. Head of Gastronomy ### #### Tasks & Challenges • Overall entrepreneurial responsibility for the gastronomy area including budgeting, KPI management, and achievement of economic goals • Overall responsibility for the F&B area with around 50 employees and seasonal orientation • Leadership and further development of the team • Ensuring smooth operational processes including an active host role during high-frequency periods • Further development of existing gastronomy, service, and event concepts • Strategic co-design of the future direction and positioning of the business as a member of the management Qualifications & Competencies • Completed training in the hotel industry and a degree from a hotel management school or a comparable training • Several years of leadership experience in the hotel industry with an overarching F&B focus • Strong host mentality as well as hands-on mentality • Experience in the event and banquet sector • Very good business administration knowledge, entrepreneurial attitude • High social competence, assertiveness, and the ability to successfully bring together different employees and cultures • Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible way of working • Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage Chances & Perspectives You will take on a key position with great creative freedom and short decision-making paths.
