The Stiftung Schloss Turbenthal offers seventy hearing-impaired and hearing people with individual care needs a living space with versatile training, work, therapy, and residential opportunities. We are looking in the Kitchen team as of 01.07.2026 Cook EFZ 100% In the kitchen, meals, a snack and break offering for the clients, the staff, as well as guests and guest groups are produced. Additionally, we produce own products for sale in the Dorfladen. These are your tasks • Professional preparation, distribution, and presentation of all dishes according to the catering concept • Taking over daily responsibility in the kitchen • Performing preparatory work (Mise en Place) • Ensuring and complying with hygiene regulations according to GHP and HACCP as well as occupational safety • Shared responsibility for efficient inventory management • Carrying out cleaning work • Accompanying and supporting employees in protected workplaces • Contact person for occupational safety topics in the catering area Service times: Monday to Friday 06:00-15:00 / 07:00-16:00 / 09:00-18:15 Weekend services (usually two shifts per month) 07:15-12:45 and 15.15 -18:15 What you bring with you • Completed training as Koch oder Köchin EFZ • Several years of professional experience in communal catering • Independent, reliable, and responsible way of working • Flexibility for shifts on weekends and public holidays • High social competence, humor, and pronounced service orientation • Joy in working with people with disabilities • Very good German language skills in speaking and writing What we offer you • Meaningful, independent activity with room for creativity • Modern infrastructure • Appreciative and social working environment with people at the center • Sunday and public holiday allowances • Employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines • Above-average social benefits • Good accessibility with public transport • Free parking spaces Would this be a motivation for you?
