• Monitoring and analysis of material, supplier and purchase price developments as central drivers of the gross margin as well as development of decision-making bases for the sustainable improvement of profitability
• Sparring partner for the Global Head of Procurement, local procurement teams, Finance and Supply Chain organizations
• Support for strategic procurement decisions through sound analyses and business cases, as well as collaboration on supplier, cost and make-or-buy decisions
Qualifications ##
• Successfully completed studies in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in procurement controlling or purchasing in an international industrial environment
• Sound understanding of cost structures, procurement processes and margin mechanisms combined with strong analytical skills as well as high affinity for numbers and data
• Very good SAP knowledge (FI/CO, CO-PA, MM; other modules are an advantage)
• Digital competence for data analytics and AI solutions for analyzing material, supplier and purchase price developments as well as for creating predictive decision-making bases
• Very good knowledge of Excel (incl. Power Query) as well as experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik for analyzing complex data structures, automation of reporting processes and creation of meaningful management dashboards
• Strong communication personality with a distinct business partner mindset and a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Business fluent English skills (C1); German skills are an advantage
