Control Technology Engineer (all)

Your field of activity • In this exciting role, you will lead sub-projects and internal working groups and actively participate in large-scale projects and programs • You plan, design, and implement the data connection of decentralized plants such as PV, wind, hydropower, battery storage, charging infrastructure, and EMS to the BKW central control center • In doing so, you connect interfaces such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104/101, MQTT, REST API, or OPC-UA and parameterize these independently or together with partners • You integrate and model plants in SCADA and control systems and further develop the system landscape for feed-in and load management • You develop technical solutions for complex systems in close coordination with planners, customers, and manufacturers - always in compliance with IT and OT security specifications • You analyze systems and malfunctions, derive improvements, and clearly inform line managers as well as project managers about progress, risks, and results What you bring with you • Completed studies in electrical engineering at university or technical college level or a comparable education, with further training in project management an advantage • Good knowledge of the technical connections in the systems, in the power grid, and production plants is a matter of course for you • In stressful situations, you maintain an overview, can prioritize meaningfully, and keep a cool head • Your structured and responsible way of working helps you to reliably keep an eye on resources, deadlines, quality, and costs • Structured, customer- and solution-oriented way of working and thinking • Business-fluent German skills as well as good French or English skills enable you to communicate confidently We do not wish to receive inquiries from personnel service providers.
