About us
Jobsswitzerland.ch is a free job board for the whole of Switzerland, in every field, and it reads in English first. That matters if you are moving here, already here on a permit, or crossing a border every morning while the local portals speak one national language each.
The board itself is not English-only. Postings arrive in German, French, Italian and English and are shown in the language you are reading once a translation is ready, so an English search still reaches a German-language posting.
How it works
- 1Search by keyword and place, then narrow by field, canton, employment type, employment level, seniority, company size or industry.
- 2Open a posting for the full description, the employer, the workload, any languages the posting names and any stated salary. You apply on the employer’s own page, never through us.
- 3Hiring? Enter the role, confirm the link we email you, and it goes live after a quick automatic check. Free, and no account.
Why it’s free
A fee on postings prices out the smaller employers, and a fee on reading prices out the people looking, which on a board aimed at newcomers is the worst filter there is. Both sides are free.
Common questions
- Do I need German to use the site?
- No. The interface and the postings both read in English, and a posting names the languages the role needs wherever its source states them.
- Which parts of Switzerland are covered?
- All of it, all 26 cantons and every field. A search can be narrowed to one canton or one city at any point.
- Is posting really free?
- Yes, for every employer and every role, with no account and no fee.
- Where do the listings come from?
- From employers posting directly, and from public Swiss job sources and company career pages, which link back to their origin.
- How is a posting taken down?
- Through the private link the poster receives by email when it goes live, with no account. That link withdraws the posting rather than editing it, so a correction means posting again.
