Le Café Littéraire is looking for a dynamic, smiling and professional Chef de rang to join our team in Vevey. Your responsibilities: • Ensure the management of your station and your customers throughout the service • Welcome and advise customers with professionalism and conviviality • Take orders and ensure fluid and efficient service • Present dishes and drinks and answer customer questions • Ensure customer satisfaction and anticipate their needs • Ensure the setting up, clearing, and setting of tables • Process bills and perform cash register operations • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and the rest of the team • Participate in the general smooth running of the dining room • Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness rules, and the establishment's standards Profile sought: We are looking for a person: • With a first experience as a Chef de rang or in a similar position • Dynamic, organized and reactive • Comfortable with customers and having an excellent sense of service • Presenting a professional and positive attitude • Capable of working effectively under pressure • Autonomous while having a true team spirit • Punctual, reliable and careful • Mastery of French is indispensable; English is a plus We offer • A position within a dynamic and warm establishment • A human-sized team • A pleasant working environment by the lake • Attractive working conditions • A full-time position, to be filled according to availability Is this advertisement interesting to you?
