Team Leader

This position consists of leading a team of social professionals by guaranteeing the quality and consistency of social assistance services. It also includes operational case management, particularly in the support and integration of beneficiaries. Team Leader Our client is a cantonal public service active in the field of social assistance, responsible for supporting populations in vulnerable situations. It works in close collaboration with a network of institutions and partners to ensure global and coordinated support. Missions As a Team Leader, you will have the following responsibilities: Team management and leadership: Supervise a team of approximately 7 to 8 employees (social workers and administrative staff). Organize daily work, distribute cases, and ensure the smooth running of the service. Monitor individual and collective performance (annual interviews, objectives, feedback). Manage absences, working time, and team planning. Participate in recruitment and the integration of new employees. Prevent and manage conflicts, while maintaining a collaborative working climate. Supervision and quality of services: Guarantee the consistency of professional practices within the service. Ensure compliance with the legal framework (social assistance, subsidiarity, current standards). Supervise complex cases and support employees in their processing. Validate key decisions (allocations, budgets, assistance processes). Ensure the monitoring of indicators and the production of statistics (OFS, AIS, etc.). Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's processes and practices. Ensure coordination with various internal services and external partners. Collaborate with institutions and organizations of the social network. Operational activity: Manage a limited portfolio of cases (approximately 10%). Support beneficiaries, particularly refugees, in their integration. Supervise administrative procedures and the financial monitoring of situations. Coordinate interventions with the actors involved in the care process. Candidate Profile As a Team Leader, you have the following profile: Bachelor's degree in social work (or equivalent) with additional training in management. 2 to 5 years of experience in social assistance and team management. Skills in leadership, decision-making, and managing complex situations. Good knowledge of social legislation and the migration/integration field. Excellent communication and coordination skills with multiple actors. Autonomy, stress resistance, empathy, and organizational skills. Proficiency in French, with good knowledge of German and English.
