Employee Agogics 100 % Start date: Immediately or by arrangement Work location: Burgdorf The Regionalgefängnis Burgdorf is the most modern prison in the Canton of Bern and stands for a secure, structured, and responsible execution of various types of detention. With around 160 inmates and 60 employees, we ensure orderly operations and high security standards daily. We orient ourselves by the motto: "Security today and tomorrow. Working with us means taking responsibility, acting reliably, and actively contributing in a demanding environment Your tasks In this function, you ensure the production of high-quality work products and guarantee efficient work operations. You plan, organize, and accompany the work processes professionally and ensure compliance with the specified quality, safety, and work standards. You accompany the inmates in their daily work life, assess their performance, and promote their work, social, and self-competencies according to work-agogical principles. In the core process of execution, you work interdisciplinary with the execution managers as well as other specialist departments. You ensure the quality of services and their correct billing, acquire work orders, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. In doing so, you orient yourself according to the principles of action of work-agogics and contribute to a conducive working atmosphere. Your profile You have completed vocational training (EFZ) in the wood or manual sector and bring several years of professional experience. Knowledge in the social or intercultural field (e.g., asylum matters) is desirable; professional experience in a comparable function, ideally in judicial execution, is an advantage. You convince through teamwork, negotiation skills, as well as strong planning and organizational skills. You are open to further training in the work-agogical and judicial execution-specific field. In addition, you have very good German and French skills; further language skills are welcome.
