In this key role, you actively contribute to the implementation and development of the data protection system within the Assura Group. You support the business and management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for data protection, while participating in effective data and risk governance.

What you do on a daily basis
You advise the business on data protection issues and manage requests from individuals regarding their rights (e.g. right of access, rectification, right to be forgotten, etc.) in collaboration with internal teams. You handle personal data protection breaches and participate in the handling of data security breaches in collaboration with the Information Security Service.
You analyze the compliance of business projects, contracts, as well as existing and new data processing with legal requirements and the recommendations of the Federal Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner. You support the business in carrying out data protection impact assessments (AIPD).
You participate in the development and updating of internal regulations on data protection for the Group. You maintain and develop the register of processing activities.
