Social Worker Adult Protection Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung Zentrum Breitenstein Social Worker Adult Protection 60 - 80% The Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung of the Bildungsdirektion provides, orders, manages, and coordinates services for child and youth welfare and vocational counseling. The Zentrum Breitenstein is part of the Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung and is supported and co-financed by the municipalities of the Bezirk Andelfingen. Zentrum Breitenstein provides social services in the areas of child and adult protection, personal assistance, counseling, and prevention for the population of the Bezirk Andelfingen. The service is aimed at families, adolescents, children, as well as adults with special needs, social difficulties, and/or addiction problems. Our team is growing – together we can achieve a lot! Zentrum Breitenstein in Andelfingen is looking for an experienced and committed social worker for adult protection as of 1. August 2026 or by arrangement. Together with your team, you will manage legal assistances (Beistandschaften) for adults for 22 municipalities of the Bezirk Andelfingen, which have been ordered by the KESB Winterthur-Andelfingen. Self-determination and personal responsibility of the clients are always the priority. The following tasks await you: Management of mandates according to the mandate of the KESB, mostly involving the administration of income and assets Drafting applications and reports to authorities Representation in personal, legal, and financial matters Actively participating in the further development of professional legal assistance We expect from you: Completed degree in Social Work FH Professional experience in adult protection or in social assistance In-depth knowledge of private law, social insurance law, and social assistance law Empathy towards people in difficult life situations Psychological resilience and flexibility as well as negotiation-level presentation skills What can you expect from us?
