We combine all the necessary competencies under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering. We operate and maintain a plant fleet with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the capacity available from hydropower in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants operated by us generate about 16% of the electricity from hydropower in Switzerland. Engineer in Maintenance & Mechanical Reliability Workplace: Sion Your mission: Within operational management, you play a key role in cooperation with other departments for the reliability, availability, and further development of the hydropower plants. You ensure a high-performance, flexible, and sustainably future-oriented operation. Your tasks: Ensuring a general overview of the technical and strategic challenges of the plants and guaranteeing their long-term coherence. Participation in design reviews, conducting preventive inspections during overhauls, and validating the handover of projects to operations. Supporting the teams on-site in troubleshooting in close cooperation with the subject matter experts. Leading cross-functional analyses, utilizing empirical values, and promoting a dynamic of continuous improvement. Optimization and flexibilization of maintenance work according to the challenges of each partner. Participation in the integration of digitalization projects into the operational process. Further development of the CMMS and contribution to the transition to a maintenance analysis of the plant performance and proposal of optimization measures. Conducting studies on the reliability and flexibilization of maintenance to increase operational performance. Development of standardized maintenance plans and tools that promote the use and exchange of knowledge. Design of training modules for the on-call service and participation in the engineers' on-call service. Your competencies: Engineer ETH or FH in mechanical engineering. Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Strong interest in data, statistical analyses, and methods for risk assessment. Pronounced sense for digital innovation and new technologies, good programming skills. Independence and initiative, strong analytical and synthetic skills. Ability to manage technical challenges in a matrix organization and coordinate various actors. Native language German or French with very good knowledge of the respective other language. Excellent social competencies: ability to listen, teamwork, persuasiveness, and ability to work with different teams.
