Head of Nursing Geriatric Psychiatry (m/w/d) 80-100% Geriatric Psychiatry Your tasks You will lead the focus on geriatric psychiatry together with the head physician in a professional, personnel, and organizational manner You will move safely in interprofessional leadership structures and promote a trusting cooperation between nursing, medical staff, and other departments You will create conditions for a modern, patient-oriented, and evidence-based nursing care You will accompany and support your teams in the demanding clinical everyday life and promote a appreciative leadership culture You will drive change and development processes, bring in your own ideas and impulses, and shape them in close cooperation with the Nursing Directorate in a sustainable way You will take responsibility in nursing and interprofessional projects and actively shape the further development of adult psychiatry You will promote the professional development of your employees and teams Your profile Diploma in Nursing HF/FH with SRK recognition and several years of experience in psychiatric nursing, ideally in geriatric psychiatry Leadership experience and completed management training Enjoyment of leadership, team development, and interprofessional cooperation High social competence, networked thinking, and a good understanding of processes and structures in the healthcare system Solution-oriented, resilient, and binding personality with organizational skills and a high quality awareness The Psychiatrie Baselland (PBL) is one of the leading psychiatric institutions in Northwestern Switzerland.
