Our client from the Thalwil region is active in the industrial sector and is looking for us for a Building Technician 100% (m/f/d) # Employment: 100% Location: Rapperswil SG Industry: Trade/Crafts general Publication date: 05.08.2026 Your tasks • Operating the building management system including intrusion detection system, door locking control, and fire alarm system • Monitoring energy systems such as ventilation, cooling, heat, compressed air, lake water, wastewater, and water supply • Coordinating, monitoring, and performing maintenance and inspection work • Recording and documenting energy consumption figures • Troubleshooting production systems • Assisting with cross-departmental projects • Supporting and relieving the porter • On-call service 24 hours / 365 days a year as well as weekend and holiday assignments • Monitoring and periodic inspection of smoke/heat vents and fire protection doors Your profile • Completed vocational training as a heating, ventilation, or sanitary installer* • Additional training as a building technician* or an equivalent qualification • Security training • Training as a fire protection officer is an advantage • Some years of professional experience in a similar activity • Very good German language skills • Basic PC skills • SAP knowledge is an advantage What you can expect • Interesting and varied activities • Comprehensive induction into the area of responsibility • Collegial, dynamic team with an open communication culture • Fair salary with further benefits Have I aroused your interest?
