Assistant Physician in hospital psychiatry

Intervene within the framework of the hospitalization of patients in psychiatric care. Ensure consultations and psychiatric management within our multidisciplinary team. Support the hospital department head and play a proactive role in the evolution of the psychiatry department by contributing to projects, to our integrated care system aiming to constantly improve standards of care and guaranteeing comprehensive mental health management for our patients. Actively participate in the development of care projects and the continuous improvement of practices within the establishment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in order to design and implement adapted care plans. Establish and nurture strong professional links with general practitioners, thereby promoting transparent collaboration and ensuring attentive follow-up of patients. Specific responsibilities in addition to the points above: You ensure the replacement of the holder depending on the needs of the department. You participate in weekend on-call duties: 1 weekend every 6 to 10 weeks (on-site visits + telephone presence). You play a driving role in the supervision and training of assistant physicians. The position is open to a part-time arrangement between 80% and 100%, depending on your availability. You hold a medical degree as a psychiatrist with a specialization in adult psychiatry, recognized by the Swiss authorities (MEBEKO). You also hold the FMH specialist title (or equivalent) in psychiatry. You master French at a minimum C1 level. You have proven experience in clinical psychiatry, ideally in a hospital environment. Experience in supporting patients in acute psychiatric care would be a valuable asset. Significant experience in a university setting would also be desired. You possess strong skills in listening, analysis and decision-making, and you are able to manage stressful and complex situations effectively. You are autonomous in your practice while respecting the protocols and values of the establishment. You enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team and are able to communicate effectively with your colleagues.
