Mechanical Manager

Locality Neuchâtel Availability Immediately Type Permanent Reference 41989 Published on 15/08/2026 We are looking for a hands-on, dynamic, and versatile person, capable of ensuring both the operational management of a mechanical workshop, technical support, and the daily management of a team. Job description ### Main responsibilities • Organize, plan, and manage the daily activity of the production workshop. • Supervise, support, and develop the skills of a production team. • Ensure the monitoring of priorities, deadlines, quality, and performance. • Actively participate in setups, adjustments, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems. • Supervise or coordinate activities related to the mechanical manufacturing of microtechnical components. • Optimize flows, working methods, and production processes. • Act as the field liaison with Management and support services. • Ensure compliance with safety rules, workshop best practices, and quality requirements. • Participate in continuous improvement and propose concrete and pragmatic solutions. Profile ### Desired profile • Technical training such as CFC Polymécanicien, Technicien ES or training deemed equivalent. • Confirmed experience in a mechanical, microtechnical, watchmaking, or industrial production environment. • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, etc...). • Experience in team management. • Ability to intervene directly on the ground and to provide technical support to teams. • Organized, rigorous, autonomous, and solution-oriented person. • Natural leadership, clear communication, and sense of priorities. • Practical spirit, versatility, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
