As IT Procurement Manager, you will take charge of strategic procurement in central IT and infrastructure categories. In collaboration with our internal departments and external partners, you will develop procurement strategies, manage tenders and negotiations, and ensure procurement suited to our data center projects. You will actively contribute to shaping our supplier landscape, identify optimization potentials, and make a significant contribution to the success of construction, expansion, and modernization projects. Your area of responsibility ## • Development and implementation of strategies and objectives by product family for the assigned categories, particularly in the areas of IT, servers, network, and connectivity infrastructure • Identification and realization of cost, quality, project, and grouping potentials in collaboration with internal departments • Management of tender and negotiation processes for new constructions, client expansions, and data center modernization projects • Conducting price and contract negotiations as well as participating in the drafting of framework agreements and individual contracts • Ensuring the supply of materials and services according to needs and deadlines • Active management of contracts and monitoring of agreed services and quality standards • Conducting market and portfolio analyses to identify optimization potentials, critical product families, and procurement risks • Development of appropriate measures to guarantee supply and minimize procurement risks • Selection of appropriate suppliers in collaboration with internal specialists and continuous development of the supplier portfolio • Conducting regular supplier evaluations and improving supplier management • Professional collaboration with internal departments and external partners Your skills ## • Completed technical, IT, or commercial training, ideally supplemented by continuing education in supply chain management and/or procurement • At least three years of professional experience in strategic procurement, preferably in the field of IT solutions, network, or data centers • Experience in a project-oriented and technically demanding environment Strategic thinking and the ability to identify optimization potentials and develop appropriate solutions • Strong analytical and conceptual skills • Negotiation talent, assertiveness, and ease with different interlocutors • Autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented work style Excellent communication skills and team spirit • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Mastery of a dynamic technological and project environment • Fluent command of German and very good knowledge of English • Availability for occasional travel of approximately 10 % ## The position combines strategic procurement, technology, and critical digital infrastructure and offers the opportunity to actively participate in demanding data center projects. The field of activity ranges from product family strategies and supplier development to contractual negotiations and project-related procurement.
