Your tasks ## As a health specialist (FaGe), you will accompany, care for and support people with illnesses and in their daily lives. In this context, you will support them in shaping their daily lives and perform medical-technical procedures such as blood sampling, dressing changes or preparing and administering medication. Administrative and logistical services are also part of your tasks.   The requirements ## To work as a health specialist (FaGe), various requirements are necessary. Empathy, an appreciative basic attitude and joy in communication are essential, as dealing with patients requires a lot of tact.    Attention, care, flexibility and organizational talent are also important to meet the requirements in the healthcare sector. Good German language skills (B2 to C1 GER) and a sense of responsibility are essential to communicate with patients and the interdisciplinary team and to take responsibility for the well-being of our care recipients.    Physical and mental resilience are also necessary, as the work is often physically and emotionally challenging. Sociability, team spirit, accuracy and interest in medicine and healthcare are advantageous. Patience, respect, helpfulness and sense of responsibility round off the requirements profile. Application procedure ## Applications for the apprenticeships starting in 2027 will be accepted from July 3, 2026. This year, the selection will take place on August 12 and 19, 2026. We ask for your understanding that applications from persons living in the districts of Gersau, Küssnacht and Schwyz will be preferred.
