Permanent · Hourly wage basis · Start: September · Location: Velvet Kaffee, Wiedikon Velvet Kaffee – a new café in Wiedikon – is opening its doors in September! We serve light meals and are looking for committed employees on a part-time or full-time basis. Responsibilities: You are co-responsible for ensuring operational processes. Mise-en-place for the smooth running of kitchen work. Preparation of coffee specialties, teas, smoothies and other beverages. Adherence to the schedule and the specifications for the preparation and delivery of food. Reception and care of guests (walk-ins and reservations). Serving guests, taking orders and settlement at the cash register. Closing the café, tidying up, cleaning, stock control and compliance with hygiene regulations. Requirements: Experience in a gastro kitchen. Friendliness and hospitality. Ability to work in a team and willingness to share knowledge. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. High communication skills and sensitivity. Talent for efficient order processing and prioritization. Good physical condition (prolonged standing). Clean and neat appearance. Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure. Driver's license (an advantage). Good German and English skills; understanding of Swiss German. Portuguese skills welcome.
