Join us! Attached to l-Ordre judiciaire vaudois, the four district courts of the canton rule in the first instance in many cases involving criminal law and civil law in a broad sense. Each includes several chambers (criminal, family, monetary, etc.). In order to strengthen the existing team, the Tribunal d'arrondissement de Lausanne, which employs nearly 100 magistrat·e·s and collaborateur·trice·s, is looking for a·n greffier·ière. Responsibilities ## • Assist the presidents of the Tribunal during hearings. • Analyze files, carry out all useful research, notably legal, to prepare for the hearing and the drafting activity. • Maintain hearing minutes and prepare draft judicial decisions by writing the statement of facts and ensuring that all legal arguments are addressed (based on notes or instructions). • Perform corrections made by the President in charge of the file and ensure the proper formatting of the original decision as well as its finalization. • Participate in file management (mail, monitoring deadlines, telephones, etc.) and conduct legal research. • Inform parties and their counsel, judicial and administrative authorities, as well as any other interlocutor who can justify a legitimate interest, about the different procedures. Qualifications ## • Master in law or university degree deemed equivalent • Several years of professional experience desired • Sense of public service and responsibility • Taste for drafting judicial decisions and taking minutes • Excellent spelling, mastery of typing, rigor, precision and discretion • Very good resistance to stress As part of the recruitment procedure, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt enforcement register as well as a criminal record dating from less than 3 months.
