Following the upcoming retirement of the current holder, the Committee is looking for a new: DIRECTOR Reporting to the committee, you ensure, in connection with the management, the operational conduct of the association, in respect of its values, its mission and its purpose. Your missions Ensure, with the management, the implementation of the Caritas Vaud strategy, anticipate social, institutional and political evolutions and propose adaptations to the positioning of the association. Ensure respect for the legal, statutory and regulatory framework of the social field, as well as the principles of good governance. With existing steering, monitoring and evaluation tools for activities, guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of the resources engaged, without undermining the missions of Caritas Vaud. Lead and support the multidisciplinary management team, promote a human resources policy aligned with the values of the organization; foster participatory management, a respectful working climate and the development of skills. Ensure the proper functioning of services and projects by aiming for a significant social impact. Represent the management during committee meetings, submit items within its competence to it, bring to its attention any relevant element for strategic conduct, ensure the implementation of its decisions. Represent the organization to authorities, institutional partners, associative networks and donors; coordinate fundraising. Strengthen the visibility of Caritas Vaud through mobilizing communication, including with social networks. Your profile University or HES education (master's level or deemed equivalent) in social work, social sciences, management or law. Proven experience (8 to 10 years) in a management function, ideally in the social, para-state or associative sector, including strategic steering, management of complex projects and financial management. Proven experience in participatory management. Good knowledge of the Vaudois and Romand social and institutional network and experience in seeking public and/or private funding. Strong sensitivity to social issues and adherence to Caritas values. Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, good knowledge of German and negotiation skills.
