Solution Architect - Workplace & Infrastructure Job description Do you have an overview vision and a passion for the digital workplace from the Microsoft cloud? Here is what motivates you in the morning: • You advise our clients on modern workplace, infrastructure, and operations solutions based on Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure (including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop). • You analyze existing environments, develop target architectures, operating models, governance concepts, cloud strategies, and roadmaps for modern and hybrid cloud solutions. • You accompany the tender / RfP processes regarding pre-sales activities; you support the qualification, assume responsibility for the solution design, and prepare calculations as well as offer documents. • You present solution designs at the management and C-Level level. • You identify new technological possibilities early and actively integrate innovations from the Microsoft ecosystem into client projects and service offerings. • You support the continuous development of our standardized service offerings regarding service standards, best practices, maintainability and scalability, operating models, and SLAs. We expect from you: • A university degree (FH or university) in computer science, business informatics, or business administration. • 3 to 5+ years of experience as a solution architect at a managed IT services provider with strong consulting competence and corresponding experience in pre-sales, bidding processes, and tenders. • Proven experience in the design and operation of Microsoft-based workplace and infrastructure solutions, with an enthusiasm for modern technologies and innovations. • A very good understanding of IT service management and managed services, outsourcing, and operating models. • You possess excellent communication, analysis, and design skills and know how to communicate and present complex topics in an understandable manner to clients, management, stakeholders, and decision-makers. • Great personal initiative, a pragmatic orientation towards solutions, and the requirement to create sustainable added value for clients. • Excellent knowledge of German as well as very good skills in English. • Workplace in Bern, Zurich, or Basel as well as availability for travel in Switzerland.
