Head of Civil Engineering ----------------- We are looking for a responsible head for the departments of Civil Engineering, Workshop and Specialist Unit Nature and Environment in an attractive city in Central Switzerland. Your field of action: • Personal and technical leadership of the Civil Engineering and Workshop departments as well as the Specialist Unit Nature and Environment with a total of around 32 employees • Member of the Management Board Construction • Operational responsibility for the Civil Engineering sector including organization and coordination • Responsibility for creating budget and financial planning as well as ensuring budget compliance through effective controlling instruments • Ensuring efficient and customer-oriented service and performance provision • Cooperation and networking with cantonal and communal administrative offices, service providers and other partners • Supporting the Head of Department and advising the City Council and all administrative units on civil engineering topics • Participation in projects, commissions and working groups You are a good fit for us if you: • Have a university degree in a technical or business management field • Have proven professional and leadership experience in a management position • Have an understanding of political decision-making processes • Are a dynamic, team-oriented person who combines organizational and technical strengths with entrepreneurial and analytical thinking • Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders and can express yourself very confidently in writing and speaking Please apply by email with reference 83H5ZU in the subject line.
