Senior System Engineer - Infrastructure & Platforms

A modern and versatile IT landscape awaits you with its own data center, a powerful server, storage, virtualization and network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 as well as numerous specialist applications. Together we ensure that our systems remain secure, available and future-proof and continuously develop our IT landscape further. Together instead of in silos ## In our small IT team, we work across departments. The following tasks form the focus of this position. At the same time, we support each other in daily operations and jointly take responsibility for a stable, secure and future-proof IT landscape. Your tasks ### • Operation, support and further development of our server, storage, virtualization and network infrastructure • Responsibility for Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory • Independent planning and implementation of infrastructure, security and digitalization projects • Further development of our backup, restore and disaster recovery concepts • Evaluation of new technologies and technical solutions • Participation in daily IT operations as well as cooperation with external service providers • Documentation and continuous optimization of our infrastructure What you bring with you ### • IT training EFZ as well as ideally further training HF/FH or comparable professional experience • Several years of experience as a System Engineer or in the operation and further development of modern IT infrastructures • Good knowledge and practical experience in the areas of server, virtualization, storage, network as well as Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory • Independent, structured and responsible way of working You do not need to know every one of our systems already. It is important to us that you bring a solid technical foundation, take responsibility and want to develop our infrastructure long-term together with the team.
