At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Schüpfheim, you will take responsibility for the Boarding School department and actively help shape its future. Your tasks As Head of Department, you will take on the professional, personnel, and organizational leadership of the boarding school for children and adolescents and continuously develop the area in participatory cooperation with the Department Management and the Head of Department School. You support and empower committed group leaders and their teams in their daily work and promote appreciative, solution-oriented cooperation. You ensure the quality of support for our children and adolescents and are responsible for central processes such as support planning, work with parents and authorities, as well as case management and crisis interventions. You manage operational processes, resources, and budgets proactively and ensure the implementation of strategic and operational goals. Through your participation in projects, conceptual work, and the extended management team, you contribute to the further development of the HPZS and successful interdisciplinary cooperation. Your profile A training as a Social Pedagogue, Special Education Teacher (FH/HF), or Care Professional with corresponding additional training forms the basis for this responsible function. Ideally, you already possess leadership training or corresponding leadership experience as well as several years of practical experience in a social pedagogical environment. You convince with a reflective leadership personality, organizational talent, assertiveness, and the ability to support, promote, and inspire employees for common goals. A networked way of thinking, high social competence, and the willingness to reflect on your own actions enable you to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
