IT Business Service Manager (m/w/d) 100%

As an IT Business Service Manager, you will take responsibility for demanding IT and digitalization projects. You combine technical understanding, project management, and business proximity and actively help shape our regional as well as international application landscape. Your tasks: • You lead the introduction of group-wide IT solutions locally at our site and implement local digitalization, automation, and integration projects • You analyze business requirements, evaluate technical solution options, and translate them into viable concepts, specifications, and target architectures • You work on topics such as interfaces/API connections, data integration, process automation, cloud solutions, and the modernization of our application landscape • You assume functional and technical responsibility towards internal departments, group locations, and external service providers • You prepare decision-making bases for management and actively contribute your technical assessment to roadmaps, make-or-buy considerations, and architecture decisions Your profile: • A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable technical field • Several years of experience in software development, solution engineering, technical project management, or business-oriented IT consulting • Sound understanding of system architectures, interfaces, APIs, data models, and modern IT landscapes • Experience in leading or coordinating IT projects as well as enjoyment in mediating between business, IT, and external partners • You do not have to develop productively every day, but you bring sufficient technical depth to be able to assess code, interfaces, and architecture decisions soundly and validate them prototypically if necessary • An open, curious personality with a strong can-do mentality, analytical thinking, and enjoyment of pragmatic solutions • Proficiency in agile as well as classical methods; experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence is an advantage • Knowledge of Azure Cloud, MS SQL Server, Windows Server, automation, Power Platform, or automotive/enterprise IT is a plus • Business fluent German and English skills We do a lot to ensure that our employees are motivated and satisfied and can develop further in an appreciative working environment.
