Title: Fixed-term First Employment - Water and Gas Network Fitter We will achieve this together As an experienced Water and Gas Network Fitter, you will carry out maintenance and operation work on the Potable Water Distribution Network to ensure the water supply to customers. The creation on 1 January 2023 of the EPG (Potable Water Gas) activity will also lead you to intervene on gas installations. The Construction Eau and Gaz (CEG) unit of the Eau Potable Gaz (EPG) activity is attached to the Thermique, Gaz and Eau (TGE) Directorate. Its mission is to guarantee the continuity of operation and the quality of potable water distribution, as well as the studies and realization of water and gas network work. Your energy for a sustainable Geneva Your missions will be as follows: Carry out extension and renewal work on pipes according to current standards and in compliance with safety standards; Prepare the necessary parts and tools for the realization of construction sites; Carry out repairs in the event of leaks on the network; Participate in internal exchanges and provide a first level of response to customers and stakeholders on construction sites; Contribute to the promotion of the SIG brand image. Your personality and skills With good physical condition, you are able to work outdoors and in a demanding and confined environment; Your team spirit is essential for collaboration and smooth operation within teams; Knowledge in the gas sector is an asset that will give you versatility; A driver's license is required; Start of work at 7am. Your academic background Holder of a CFC in sanitary installation, or equivalent training, you master the general techniques, equipment used and current standards. The salary will be calculated on the basis of a gross annual reference salary of CHF 59'400.-- (100% basis) divided into thirteen salaries depending on your level of diploma.
