Mechanical Design Engineer / Apparatus Engineering

Here, you will work in a technically strong SME environment with international momentum, short paths, and close proximity to design, assembly, manufacturing, and customer projects. > What awaits you • You create drawings, schemata, bills of materials, and technical documentation for hydraulic assemblies. • You develop engineering and manufacturing documents for custom projects. • You support project managers and sales with technical clarifications. • You clarify technical questions with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. • You work with 2D and 3D CAD and maintain existing design data cleanly. > What you bring • You have completed training as a Konstrukteur EFZ or a comparable basic technical training in mechanical engineering. • You have experience in apparatus engineering, mechanical engineering, or assembly design. • Initial knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, or drive technology is an advantage. • You work confidently with 2D and 3D CAD, ideally with Solid Edge or Inventor. • You are proficient with MS 365 (including Teams and Sharepoint) and enjoy clean data maintenance in technical systems. • You communicate confidently in German and bring English skills; French is a plus. • You work in a structured, exact manner and ask in good time when technical points need to be clarified. > Why you would fit • You have already gained initial professional experience as a design engineer and want to specifically expand your expertise as well as take on more responsibility. • You like precise design, technical details, and the direct connection to the workshop. • You think along, document cleanly, and adhere to processes, standards, and quality specifications. • You feel comfortable in a small, dynamic team where people support each other and speak directly to one another. • You are eager to deepen your knowledge step by step in hydraulics and project design for local SMEs as well as international projects. > Onboarding & Induction You do not start alone at the screen, but first get to know the products, processes, and people. Sometimes it is about compact assemblies weighing only a few kilograms, sometimes about systems where several tons are precisely guided, lifted, or moved. That is exactly where your design becomes visible: in clean function, safe movement, and technical elegance. With every task, your technical understanding grows. You familiarize yourself with internal standards, CAD and PDM processes, as well as hydraulic systems, and receive support when questions arise. Step by step, you understand not only how individual assemblies are designed, but also what influence your work has on the finished product and its function.
