Carpentry Technician

As part of our Sigma Temporaire department, we have the pleasure of collaborating with a renowned company in the construction sector based in Valais. To meet their needs, we are actively looking for a confirmed carpentry technician (M/F): Technical skills (core business) Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams, and calculation notes Knowledge of wood structures (traditional, industrial, laminated) Mastery of assembly techniques (mortise and tenon, dovetailing, metal connectors) Tracing, cutting, and machining wood Use and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, portable power tools) Implementation of roofs and wooden frameworks Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules) Installation, assembly, and lifting of carpentry elements Quality control, stability verification, and compliance Notions of material resistance and load calculations Additional technical skills Use of drawing or CAD/CAO software (e.g.: Cadwork, AutoCAD, SEMA) Reading of technical documents and digital plans Bases in measurement and estimates Site monitoring and coordination with other trades Maintenance and maintenance of wooden structures Safety and organizational skills Strict application of safety rules on site Use of personal protective equipment (EPI) Organization of the workstation Respect for deadlines and procedures Work at height in complete safety Relational skills (know-how) Team spirit and collaboration with other stakeholders Clear communication with colleagues, site manager, or clients Autonomy and sense of responsibility Stress management and adaptation to site constraints Respect for instructions and hierarchy Your profile: ES technician diploma Skills in planning, reading, and establishing plans Use of technical software (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc.) Interface between design office and site Personal qualities Rigor, precision, and sense of responsibility Reliability and professional commitment Good communication and team spirit Ability to adapt and manage stress Conditions Category B driver's license required Availability for site interventions Good physical condition We offer: A long-term mission within a company recognized for its artisanal expertise.
