It protects the waters, soil and air of the canton of Neuchâtel and its population against various nuisances and monitors waste management and recovery. Finally, it advises and provides technical support to professionals and the population. Your missions Reporting directly to the head of the Département du développement territorial et de l'environnement (DDTE), you lead the SENE. You ensure its proper management in terms of human resources, finance, communication and administration, while guaranteeing the fulfillment of the missions incumbent upon you. You are responsible for the application of federal energy and environmental policies at the cantonal level as well as the implementation of cantonal policies in this matter. In this capacity, you apply the necessary measures to achieve the objectives of the entity and develop strategic axes in cooperation with the department as well as federal, cantonal, communal and private actors. You orient public action in terms of energy and environmental policy, within the framework of sustainable development. In parallel, you represent the canton to numerous external partners (Confederation, cantons, communes, private sector, etc.) and internal partners (departments, central services, etc.) with whom you guarantee quality relationships. In a sensitive political and economic environment, in constant and rapid evolution, you collaborate closely with the head of the department, the State services and partner entities, while maintaining an important network of relations with federal, intercantonal and communal structures. Your profile Holder of a master's degree (University or HES), ideally supplemented by complementary training in public management, you have solid professional and managerial experience acquired in a management function within a public or private organization. You are driven by the desire to commit yourself with determination in favor of the canton of Neuchâtel, its energy policy and its natural spaces. Endowed with an analytical mind and a vision that allows you to grasp the strategic, societal and political issues of a changing environment, you also possess the skills to supervise or drive important projects. Your human qualities, your power of conviction and sense of communication allow you to develop positive relationships, both with your team and with your institutional and private partners.
