Job Description ## Position : Are you an experienced operational risk professional in the banking sector, looking for your next career step in a role where you can still shape and strengthen a mature risk framework? Or are you currently working in Big 4 risk consulting or internal audit and wish to move to a strategic internal operational risk position within a leading financial institution? This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit 2nd line of defense team, where you will play a key role in improving operational risk governance, supporting regulatory alignment, and promoting continuous improvement across the organization. As a Senior Operational Risk Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring robust risk governance, supporting regulatory alignment, and strengthening operational resilience across the organization. Your expertise will help promote effective risk management practices, challenge existing processes, and ensure consistency within the Group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead and further develop the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational risks • Oversee risk management activities related to outsourcing and third parties, ensuring appropriate governance and risk mitigation measures • Support the continuous alignment of the operational risk framework with Swiss regulatory requirements, including relevant FINMA expectations • Promote consistency of operational risk practices across the Group and collaborate with stakeholders from different functions and sites • Provide risk analysis, reporting, and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational risk processes, controls, and governance frameworks Required Profile ## Profile : • University degree in finance, economics, risk management, or a related discipline • Approximately 8 to 10 years of professional experience in operational risk, internal audit, risk consulting, or similar control functions in the banking or financial services sector • Good understanding of operational risk frameworks, including RCSA methodologies and control environments • Experience with Swiss banking regulation and FINMA requirements • Experience in outsourcing/third-party risk management and regulatory initiatives would be an advantage • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and influence at different levels of the organization • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Proactive and pragmatic approach, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment • Fluent English required; good French skills expected, German being an asset • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Avaloq would be a plus • Available to work full-time (no teleworking) • Eligible for or already in possession of a Swiss passport or a Swiss work permit \#LI-SG1
