Electrical Engineer 100% - Aviation Systems About the position In this role, you will modernize the aeronautical radio receiver infrastructure for air traffic control. Your technical focus lies in improving radio quality between air traffic controllers and pilots. Together with specialists, you will actively accompany the systems through the qualification and rollout phases until successful commissioning. Your tasks This position focuses on the testing and implementation of solutions to optimize radio communication for air traffic control, including the qualification of new radio receivers and the troubleshooting of complex transmission problems. Creation and specification of technical requirements for Air Traffic Control (ATC) Equipment. Conducting validation tests between new radio receivers and the existing infrastructure. Analysis of simultaneous transmissions, development of statistical models, and definition of alerting solutions (tones, timings, thresholds). Creation of audit-ready documentation according to regulatory aviation standards. Configuration adjustments and physical installation. Interface management with suppliers during the validation and implementation phase. Requirements Education: Completed studies (FH/Uni/ETH) in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or aviation technology.
