Life Companion & Everyday Support We are looking for an experienced, reliable and empathetic professional (man, woman or couple) to accompany an 81-year-old Dutch gentleman with a residence in St. who regularly travels to Portugal. He was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He wishes to have a trustworthy person who offers him a stable presence, supports him in everyday life and accompanies him comprehensively - with the goal of maintaining his independence and quality of life for as long as possible. Main tasks Daily presence, company and emotional support Promotion of cognitive activity as well as physical movement and well-being Ensuring medication intake according to medical prescription Accompaniment to appointments, social activities and leisure activities Preparation of healthy meals and support in their organization Structuring everyday life and building suitable routines Light administrative tasks (bills, correspondence, household documents) Driving and accompaniment on trips and appointments Accompaniment on national and international trips, especially to Portugal (approx. 1x per month) Sought profile Essential requirements Very good knowledge of Dutch or German (English an advantage) Valid driver's license and very good driving practice Organized, discreet, reliable and proactive personality Secure in handling a private, confidential environment Experience in caring for older people with respectful handling of autonomy and dignity Desired profile (strong advantage) Training or experience in physiotherapy, sports, rehabilitation, coaching, health or wellness Experience with Alzheimer's or other cognitive impairments Experience as a companion, personal assistant, lifestyle manager or in private households High flexibility and willingness to travel Personal qualities We are looking for a warm, social person with high emotional intelligence.
