To strengthen our Business Applications team, we are looking for a competent and solution-oriented person as D365 SCM Application Manager 80-100% (m/f/d) In this specialized role, you will take responsibility for the management, optimization, and continuous development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) with a focus on manufacturing and logistics processes in mechanical engineering. Furthermore, you are responsible for project management in the SCM field, notably the introduction of a warehouse management system (WMS) in D365 F&SCM. You will work in close collaboration with the production, supply chain, and logistics departments as well as with the Business Applications team and external implementation partners. What you will accomplish with us D365 F&SCM - Manufacturing & Logistics SCM Project Management • Functional management and development of production, warehouse, and logistics modules in D365 F&SCM • Analysis of requirements from manufacturing and logistics and translation into processes, concepts, and solution designs • Ensure stable operation as well as continuous optimization of manufacturing and logistics processes • Participation in deployments, updates, and extensions in an international environment Introduction of the warehouse management system (WMS) • Project direction in the D365 F&SCM field, notably the introduction of WMS solutions • Planning, steering, and controlling the project scope, deadlines, budget, and resources • Coordination of internal departments as well as external implementation and support partners during the project • Ensure project standards, quality, and implementation within deadlines • Reporting project progress to management and stakeholders Process management & continuous improvement • Direction of the design, implementation, and introduction of a WMS in D365 F&SCM • Definition and optimization of warehouse processes (receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, inventory management) • Coordination of the WMS integration with upstream and downstream systems (manufacturing, shipping, legacy systems) • Management of testing, data migration, and go-live activities • Continuous training and support for users in warehouse, production, and logistics Collaboration & partner management • Analysis, documentation, and optimization of manufacturing and logistics processes • Identification of digitalization and automation potential in production and warehouse • Close collaboration with the production, supply chain, and logistics departments • Coordination and management of external implementation and support partners • Close collaboration with the Business Applications team and IT • Participation in interdisciplinary projects at national and international levels What you bring • Degree in business informatics, mechanical engineering, business administration with an IT specialization, or equivalent qualification • Several years of experience as an application manager, consultant, or key user for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM • Proven experience in IT/application project management, ideally in the SCM or ERP field • Deep knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes, ideally in mechanical engineering or plant construction • Experience in the introduction and/or operation of a warehouse management system (WMS), ideally in the D365 environment • Experience in requirements analysis, process design, and ERP solution testing • Experience in managing external implementation and support partners is an asset • Strong project management skills as well as a reliable mastery of budget and deadlines • Communicative personality with a structured and solution-oriented way of working • Very good knowledge of German and English We offer • Responsible specialized role with a direct link to production and logistics • Active participation in the introduction of the WMS in D365 F&SCM • In-depth integration, accompanied onboarding, and structured knowledge transfer • Demanding and varied activity in an internationally oriented industrial environment • Close collaboration with departments, IT, management, and external partners • Above-average employment conditions and modern infrastructure For more information, Markus Stingl, Human Resources Manager, is at your disposal.
