Specialist Group Leader Sport / Sports Teacher Vocational School (m/f/d)

Die Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel is the competence center of the Canton of Bern for design, communication, media and art. At the vocational school, over 900 apprentices are trained in 17 professions. Compulsory physical education strengthens movement, health, self-responsibility and teamwork.   As of 1 August 2027, we are looking for a personality as Specialist Group Leader Sport / Sports Teacher Vocational School (m/f/d) Your tasks • You will take over the specialist leadership of the Sport specialist group, coordinate the team, plan teaching assignments and the use of sports facilities and further develop the physical education. • You plan, teach and evaluate 16 to 18 weekly lessons of compulsory physical education in EBA and EFZ basic training. • You design safe, motivating and differentiated learning settings for different learning requirements, assess the learners in a comprehensible manner and promote movement, health, self-responsibility and teamwork. In addition, you participate in sporting events, school sports projects and quality development. Your profile • You possess a gymnasiale teaching qualification for sport, a teaching qualification for compulsory school with the required specialist additional qualification in sport or a qualification recognized as equivalent. • You bring several years of teaching experience as well as experience in specialist leadership or the willingness to take this on, ideally at the secondary level II. • You lead cooperatively, communicate clearly and appreciatively and work independently and reliably. Joy in dealing with young people as well as openness to various sports and performance levels round off your profile.
