Purchaser strategic technical systems (a) 50%-100%

## For our location in Steffisburg, we are looking for you as a Purchaser for strategic technical system procurement. At the headquarters in Steffisburg, Rychiger AG is responsible for the development and manufacture of sophisticated special machines for Food & Beverage and Pharma/Life Science/Diagnostics. The system components to be procured - including feeding systems, autoloaders, automations and sensor-controlled subsystems - are technically highly complex, project-specifically configured and regularly move in the value range up to over CHF 3 Mio. per procurement process. Your future field of activity ## Technical Procurement & Engineering Interface ### • Analysis of requirement specifications (URS / SRM), technical specifications and design drawings for the purpose of evaluating the required (sub) systems and service providers • Early involvement in product development projects (Design-to-Cost, Make-or-Buy) and standardization • Evaluation of technical equivalences and alternative solutions with Engineering, taking into account commercial and technical factors and technical acceptances at the supplier (for the systems) Tendering & Benchmark ### • Structured creation of RFQ/RFP documents for complex system deliveries • Definition of evaluation criteria: technology, price, delivery time, quality, references • Implementation of market benchmarks and competitive comparisons (at least 3 offers) • Creation of decision templates for relevant stakeholders Contract Design & Negotiation ### • Independent negotiation and creation of supply contracts (warranty, liability, SLAs) • Framework agreements: volume, time and condition agreements with key suppliers • Service contracts: definition of scope of services, milestones, acceptance criteria and penalties • Review of supplier contracts for legal and commercial risks and involvement of Legal in contracts Strategic Supplier Management ### • Building and maintaining a qualified system supplier portfolio (Dual Sourcing) • Annual supplier evaluation and active market monitoring: new technologies, alternative providers, price indices, scaling / standardization • Savings reporting and TCO analyses for purchasing controlling Why you will succeed ## Education ### • Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation or comparable • Further training in procurement/SCM and/or contract law is an advantage • Additional business administration training (CAS, MBA, or similar) is desired Professional Experience ### • 7-12 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, and/or at least 5 years in strategic procurement of technical systems • Experience in the creation and negotiation of supply, framework and service contracts • Experience in special machine construction, automation technology, packaging technology or comparable • Practice in conducting structured tenders and benchmarks in make-or-buy decisions and technical alternative evaluations What we contribute to this ## • Flexible working hours (40-hour week), remote work and workation, unpaid leave, part-time models • Promotion and individual development with diverse training and further education offers • Profit sharing and attractive options within the framework of the pension fund • Fitness studio, relaxation rooms, food lounge, internal Care & Case Management • Generous expense regulations More questions or want more info? ## Discover even more diverse benefits that we offer you: *Working@Rychiger - more than an employment relationship!*- *https://www.rychiger.com/de/unternehmen/karriere* Matthias Gasser, HR Business Partner, takes the lead regarding the application process.
