We network actors from business, science, and politics, accompany company settlements, and set important impulses for future-oriented location development. In the context of increasing hybrid threats, you will build up the competence area -Resilience and Security- within Location Promotion and strengthen the innovation and research power of the Canton Zürich. With great creative freedom, you will develop offers and measures in the security policy area for business and society. The focus is on the transfer of knowledge and technology between universities and companies in the field of dual-use and security technologies, the strengthening of cyber and information security of SMEs, as well as the strengthening of awareness for current security-relevant challenges and their impact on the location. For this versatile task, we are looking, effective immediately or by arrangement, for a personality experienced in the field of resilience and security technologies with foresight, coordination skills, and a strong orientation towards implementation. Your main tasks: ### • Building up the competence area "Resilience and Security" in Location Promotion • Development and implementation of concrete measures to strengthen the resilience of business and society • Coordination of cooperation with the Sicherheitsdirektion and other directorates as well as with internal and external partner organizations  • Building and further development of the ecosystem -Resilience and Security- in the Canton Zürich • Preparation and participation in position papers and political matters and supporting Location Promotion in its core tasks Your profile: ### • Master's degree or equivalent training, preferably in political science, international relations, security studies, natural or engineering sciences, economics, or a comparable field of study • Several years of professional experience, ideally with reference to resilience, security, or cyber topics • Strong political understanding as well as the ability to observe, classify, and assess geopolitical developments with regard to their relevance for the business location Canton Zürich • Sound project management competence with the ability to lead complex projects from conception to successful completion  • Experience in politically influenced situations, confident appearance, and communication appropriate to the level • Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English We offer: ### As an employer, the Canton Zürich has much to offer.
