For our client, an established and future-oriented industrial company based in Herisau (AR), we are looking for reinforcement for production immediately or by arrangement. In this versatile position, you contribute directly to the smooth running of the manufacturing processes. Machine Operator 100% Activities: • You take over the independent loading, controlling, and monitoring of state-of-the-art fiber optic extrusion systems. • You set up the machines precisely based on specifications, work plans, and specific recipes. • You ensure the timely processing and preparation of individual production orders. • You provide the required raw materials and condition them exactly according to the bill of materials. • You always keep an eye on the ongoing production process and intervene immediately with corrective actions in case of deviations. • You carry out regular quality checks and reliably record the measured values. • You hand over the finished products properly to the subsequent stages. • You maintain, clean, and service the assigned systems independently as part of simple maintenance work. • You actively participate in optimization processes (Lean / 5S) to continuously improve workflows. • You guarantee a seamless exchange of information during shift changes. • You record operational key figures and evaluate them systematically. Qualifications • Preferably, you already bring experience in controlling and operating industrial production systems. • You possess a strong technical understanding as well as solid basic mechanical knowledge. • You are characterized by quick comprehension and enthusiasm for technical processes. • You work extremely independently, reliably, and conscientiously. • You are fully prepared to work in a flexible shift system (including the shift model). • You have an open-minded, team-oriented, and adaptable personality. • You have very good German skills in speaking and writing. • You are physically fit and appreciate hands-on work in everyday production routine.
