Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, we are looking for a committed individual as a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) for environmental monitoring in QC Microbiology at the Kaiseraugst location. In this responsible position, you are part of the Quality Control Microbiology team and contribute significantly to ensuring the microbiological quality of products and raw materials. You will undertake the performance and evaluation of bioburden testing as well as microbial count determinations for packaging materials, active ingredients, excipients, and products. With your careful way of working, you make an important contribution to product safety and patient well-being. Your tasks include the GMP-compliant execution and documentation of microbiological tests as well as the creation, revision, and maintenance of GMP-relevant documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs). In doing so, you ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the continuous optimization of existing processes. Depending on qualification and need, you will also have the opportunity to take on further areas of responsibility within microbiological quality control. You have completed training as a Biology Laboratory Technician, Food Technologist, or a comparable qualification, as well as at least two years of practical experience in a microbiological environment, ideally in microbial count determination. Additionally, you bring sound knowledge in a GMP-regulated environment and are characterized by a precise, independent, and responsible way of working. Teamwork skills, flexibility, and good German skills in speaking and writing complete your profile. The position is to be filled starting 21.08.2026 with a workload of 100% for a planned duration of 12 months at the Kaiseraugst location. An extension is likely depending on appropriate need and approved budget. Readiness for reduced work shifts on weekends and public holidays (approx. once per month) is required.
