At the Direktion für Bildung, Soziales und Sport, the person is at the center. The Asylsozialdienst fulfills tasks in the asylum and refugee sector and is responsible for strategic and operative tasks surrounding the topic of asylum. Since 01.07.2020, the Asylsozialdienst has been a regional partner of the Canton of Bern and is responsible for the support and promotion of linguistic, professional and social integration and the provision of social assistance to recognized refugees, provisionally admitted persons, protection seekers S and asylum seekers in the perimeter Bern, Köniz, Muri, Ostermundigen, Bremgarten and Zollikofen. For the development and implementation of integrative projects with the aim of holistic promotion of our clientele, we are looking for a Project Manager with a lot of commitment and high identification with the asylum sector. Tasks & Profile What you move • You quickly implement a low-threshold qualification project into practice • You design and initiate further innovative and sustainable integration projects and accompany their successful implementation • You ensure the control and documentation of the project results and are in close exchange with the management • You perform networking work, represent the projects externally and ensure their long-term anchoring What you bring • You have a completed degree in social sciences, social work, project management, business administration or a comparable qualification • You bring several years of experience in managing projects, ideally in the migration, education or integration sector • You possess extensive knowledge in the asylum and refugee system or bring professional experience from an industry with a shortage of skilled workers (e.g., nursing, construction, gastronomy) • You possess high transcultural competence, strong communication skills and team spirit • You work with a pronounced hands-on mentality and like to think beyond your own horizon Your benefits in Bern For meaning & city life With us, you change something.
