The Institute for General Practice at Universitätsspital Zürich offers the Curriculum General Practice as a 2-year advanced training phase for aspiring general practitioners. The Curriculum General Practice enables access to attractive advanced training positions that prepare for later activity in primary care. Assistant Physician / Assistant Doctor (w/m/d) Curriculum General Practice, Track 3, 50-100% as of 1. July 2027 or by arrangement Curriculum General Practice - Track 3 2-year curriculum consisting of three rotations in specialist fields relevant to general practitioners (6 months each) as well as a 6-month practice assistance Rotations in emergency medicine, psychiatry and geriatrics (full-time) Practice assistance in a primary care practice in the Canton ZH (part-time possible) Practical preparation for later primary care activity Opportunities for supervised ultrasound Your Profile Medical diploma or EU medical diploma (MEBEKO recognition required) Career goal as a general practitioner (FMH General Internal Medicine) 3 years of experience in General Internal Medicine, of which at least 2 years inpatient Internal Medicine including A-year At least 18 months of work experience in Switzerland German language level: at least C1 Our Benefits We are offering a position for Track 3 in the Curriculum General Practice from July 2027. The rotations take place at USZ as well as in cooperation with outpatient medical practices. The focus of the emergency rotation is on the Fast-Track including minor surgery.
