Construction Manager in / Senior Construction Manager in Roadway

This is what you can achieve. • This function includes the independent execution management/construction management of civil engineering and track renovation work, including project-related management of internal and external employees at construction sites with third parties. • Together with customers and partners, you are responsible for project preparation and coordination, as well as scheduling resource deployment. • You advise the project management in early phases (SIA 31-51) technically and participate in determining the construction process for the assigned system components. This includes, among other things, contract negotiations and creating the execution contracts. • As a construction manager / senior construction manager, you continuously monitor the quality and safety of the work on the construction site and the services specified in the contract in the roadway department with regard to deadlines and costs. • You are responsible for planning and executing acceptance tests and take over the construction management or senior construction management according to SIA 103. • You review, assess, and settle measurements, contractor reports, and invoices, as well as change orders from contracted companies. This is what you bring. • Pronounced communication skills, networked thinking, negotiating skills, and stress tolerance are among your strengths. You have a high level of safety awareness and are a team player with a self-reliant and reliable way of working. • You have experience in the railway technology - roadway sector with a focus on execution as a construction site manager, construction supervisor, or have equivalent professional experience. • You are flexible for occasional night and weekend shifts as part of ongoing construction sites. • You have a federal certificate of competence as a construction manager/construction supervisor (HFP), technician (HF), or equivalent training. A valid safety certificate SC or SL is an advantage. • You have very good German language skills (at least C1) and knowledge of a second national language is an advantage. Additionally, we expect good IT user skills.
