Shift Leader in the Paint Shop

This is what you can make happen. • As a shift leader, you are responsible for the technical leadership of approx. 12 employees and coordinate the activities for the shift (no night work, but late shift) with your colleagues. In doing so, you ensure compliance with deadlines, quality, and safety. • In daily operations, you work operatively with the team. You sand, blast, putty, prime, and paint our rolling stock and work with various 2K paint systems on a water and solvent basis using AirMix and conventional painting processes. • As a shift leader, you are the first point of contact for questions regarding execution, quality, and safety for employees in the shift. • Additionally, you promote and support the further development of the team through consultation with the supervisor. This requires an open feedback culture. • You enjoy participating in projects alongside your function as a shift leader and support the team leader in the recruitment of new employees. With your confident appearance, you also convince critical voices and search persistently for common solutions, which you also implement. • Due to your high flexibility, you are used to moving in an agile working environment and adapting to changing framework conditions. • Your holistic entrepreneurial thinking paired with your interpersonal intuition makes it easier for you to coach your shift employees and to maintain deadlines, quality, and safety. • You have a completed 4-year vocational apprenticeship as an Autolackierer:in EFZ, Industrielackierer:in EFZ, or Carrosserielackierer:in EFZ. Initial leadership experience in an industrial environment is an advantage. • You have a fluent command of the German language (at least C1) and are used to working daily with common Microsoft Office applications.
