Assistant Physician / Assistant Physician Surgery

For our Clinic for Surgery, we are looking for an Assistant Physician per spring 2028. The Spitäler Schaffhausen operate an interdisciplinary emergency center at the Kantonsspital. Together with the emergency practice run by general practitioners, we offer centrally a comprehensive and high-quality medical supply. With approx. 15'000 treated patients in a 24-h operation (emergency center) as well as additionally approx. 7'500 patients in the emergency practice (18 - 22 Uhr), over 20'000 patients are medically supplied and cared for per year. ### What awaits you • The medical care of your assigned ward • Operations under specialist instruction • Assistance during various operations • On a rotational basis, care of surgical patients in the emergency station How you help us move forward • Very good German skills in speaking and writing (minimum requirement level C1) • Professional as well as social competence in dealing with patients and relatives • Commitment and enthusiasm in a clinically interdisciplinary oriented activity • Sense of responsibility, initiative, teamwork, resilience, and independence • Federal medical diploma or equivalent MEBEKO recognition Please attach the work certificates and diplomas and mention the period in which you are available in the motivation letter.
