Neuenburg, Schweiz (and home office) | 80-80% This is the contribution you can make <br /> • Participate in all project tasks for the establishment of a survey on the prevalence of gender-based violence according to the Council of Europe's Istanbul Convention • Collaborate in all production steps of the survey (collection, preparation, analysis, and dissemination of data) and process individual inquiries independently • Work together with the survey institute responsible for the first survey cycle and participate in the preparation of the tender for the second cycle • Support the project manager in answering specific thematic inquiries and maintain contact with data providers, data users, public and private institutions, as well as the media <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree in social sciences or psychology, with good legal knowledge and/or additional training in criminology, in statistics, or in the field of violence • Good IT skills, mastery of statistical tools, and practical experience in data analysis (e.g., R or Python) • Experience in project management, mastery of classic management instruments, and excellent organizational skills are a plus • Strong communicative, analytical, and editorial skills • Active knowledge of two official languages as well as very good English skills <br /> In a nutshell You are building a new population survey on the prevalence of gender-based violence, in close cooperation with the project manager. In this way, you contribute to the implementation of the Istanbul Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, which has been adopted by Switzerland.
