Social Worker at kjz Horgen Office for Youth and Vocational Counseling Social Worker at kjz Horgen 40% The Office for Youth and Vocational Counseling of the Canton of Zurich, office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal competence center that offers professional support in the areas of family/youth and vocational counseling. The Child and Youth Welfare Center (kjz) is a counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich. For our kjz team, we are looking for a social worker as of 1. November 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks You advise and accompany children, adolescents and parents within the framework of child protection measures in mandate management as well as on a voluntary basis. In addition, you carry out assessments in cases of suspected child endangerment. Intensive cooperation with family systems, authorities, schools as well as other institutions and specialist agencies is important to us. Furthermore, your inputs and suggestions are requested for the further development of our kjz Horgen. Profile You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family welfare. We are looking for you as a solution-oriented and resilient personality with high social skills, an appreciative basic attitude and enjoyment of teamwork. Administrative activities as well as the creation of reports and file notes are easy for you.
