Der Psychiatrisch\-Psychologische Dienst (PPD) is one of the eight main departments of JuWe. As one of the largest institutions for forensic psychotherapy and psychiatry in Switzerland, it specializes in the recidivism-preventive treatment of violent and sexual offenders in detention and in freedom. The range of treatments extends from court-ordered measures to therapies of basic psychiatric care. As part of the Psychiatrisch\-Psychologische Dienst (PPD), the area Stationäre Erwachsenenforensik (StEF) carries out inpatient therapeutic measures for adult clients. The treatment takes place in the daily routine of the Forensisch\-Psychiatrischen Abteilung (FPA) in the JVA Pöschwies and combines psychotherapeutic and milieu therapeutic approaches.
