Team Leader in Logistics

This is what you can achieve. • As a Team Leader Logistics, you are responsible for the personnel and functional leadership of 5 employees and 2 apprentices Logistics at the locations St. Gallen, Romanshorn, Wil, Weinfelden and St. Margrethen. • You undertake operational assignments in day-to-day logistics business and, together with your team, ensure error-free and on-time material availability from an economic perspective. • For the partners in your area, you are the first point of contact and guarantee the agreed logistics activities. Additionally, you participate in various projects and take over the management of sub-projects in your specialist area. • You manage the warehouses according to quantitative, qualitative and economic criteria in order to continuously optimize the storage volume and the inventory value - in accordance with the service concept. • In your role, you promote and support the further development of your team according to the leadership principles of SBB. You plan and organize workflows, monitor the proper and timely completion of tasks and ensure the required service times. This is what you bring with you. • You are a convincing and integrating personality with high communication competence and possess assertive and implementation qualities. • With your winning and enthusiastic manner, you find it easy to initiate new solutions. Ideally, you bring practical experience in agile working methods. • You have at least three years of leadership experience in the logistics sector with a technical background. You use your experience in project management successfully. You apply your very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP routinely in everyday work. • A completed vocational apprenticeship as a Logistiker:in is a prerequisite. Additionally, you have completed further training (e.g., Logistikfachfrau / Logistikfachmann, Führungsfachfrau / Führungsfachmann) and use this knowledge profitably. • Fluent German skills (at least C1) are required; knowledge of a second national language is an advantage.
