For our after-school care centers at Schule Entlisberg, we are looking for a social pedagogue / a social pedagogue or an experienced childcare specialist starting immediately or by arrangement. Tasks ## As a social pedagogue or as a childcare specialist, you will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. You will supervise children from 1st Kindergarten to 2nd Primary level and, together with a team of after-school care leaders and childcare specialists, ensure smooth after-school care operations. You will be supported by childcare assistants in daily operations as well as in the domestic area. During school holiday periods, you will also work in the holiday after-school care. The exact working hours can be discussed in a personal conversation with the Head of Care.   Your tasks include: • Co-designing the school-based care as well as ensuring daily operations • Accompanying and supporting the children in social and school matters, e.g., with homework • Contacts with parents • Administrative and domestic work • Collaboration in the holiday after-school care and on school-free days Profile ## • As a social pedagogue, you have a degree in social pedagogy / social work (FH / HF), a primary school teaching diploma or an equivalent qualification • As a childcare specialist, you have a degree as a specialist in childcare (EFZ) / early childhood educator or an equivalent qualification • For foreign diplomas, Swiss diploma recognition is a mandatory requirement • Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, nursery) • Very good German language skills • Very good administrative and organizational skills • Responsible and open personality with an integrative flair • Empathy, patience and joy in caring for children from kindergarten to 2nd grade We offer ## • A varied and meaningful activity in a lively environment • Competent support from the Head of Care • Cooperation with a committed and open-minded school team • Employment conditions according to municipal guidelines • Good connections to public transport Apply Apply About us ## The Schulkreis Uto is one of 7 school districts in the city of Zürich and includes the city districts 2 and 3 with the quarters Leimbach, Wollishofen, Enge, Friesenberg and Alt-Wiedikon.
