Procurement Manager (m/f/d) – Procurement / AI technologies / Capital goods procurement / German / English Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Procurement Manager (m/f/d) Background: Within our Global Procurement - Engineering Switzerland department, you will support CAPEX projects in the procurement of engineering, planning, and construction services as well as production and automation systems. You will be in close contact with our global and regional Procurement Managers, the local project teams, and our suppliers. In close coordination with the respective project teams, whom you will advise on all procurement-related issues, you will independently manage the procurement processes based on the valid procurement strategy until the end of the contract. The perfect candidate: You bring sound experience in procurement for complex CAPEX projects and move confidently in capital goods procurement. As a strong advisory personality, you convince with pronounced negotiating skills and a confident, professional appearance. You work agilely, maintain an overview even in dynamic and challenging situations, and contribute as a true team player. Your profile is rounded off by your strong communication skills, with which you engage stakeholders at all levels. Main tasks and areas of responsibility: • Collaboration on preliminary inquiries, in close coordination with the Engineering team • Ensuring all internal and external public procurement law requirements • Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of a central procurement plan • Compiling and sending out tenders • Compiling the received offers for evaluation in the project teams • Evaluation of the offers and preparation of a sound award proposal for the award decision in the project team • Conducting and documenting clarification meetings and negotiations • Creating contracts and purchase orders • Following up on expediting tasks in the project • Collaboration with Controlling on the topic of change management, and identifying and realizing savings potential • Defect and warranty management, close-out process Must Haves: • A successfully completed commercial or technical degree or a commercial or technical apprenticeship followed by further training to become a federally certified Procurement Specialist/Purchasing Manager • At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, ideally of engineering, planning, and construction services or production and automation systems • Business fluent German and English skills • Very good MS Office skills as well as experience with Google Tools and an affinity for dealing with new digital systems, especially with AI-based technologies • Detail-oriented in dealing with key figures and information storage in general • Good organizational, analytical, and conceptual skills • Good advisory competence and pronounced negotiating skills • Structured, careful, and independent way of working • Agility, resilience, and teamwork complete your profile • Good communication skills, proactive communication within the project team and with stakeholders Reference No.: 925182SDA Role: PProcurement Manager (m/f/d) Industry: Pharma Location: Kaiseraugst Workload: 100% Start: 01.11.2026 Duration: 24++ Application deadline: 31.08.2026 Should this position have piqued your interest, please send us your complete dossier.
