Fire Chief (Female) / Fire Chief (Male) What you will do with us In this responsible function as commander of the Regiofeuerwehr Agglomeration Biel, you will take over the leadership of a well-established professional fire brigade organization, which ensures safety in the region around the clock in a 24-hour rhythm with nearly 40 employees. In the event of larger incidents, the professional fire brigade is supported by the militia fire brigade with around 100 members. Are you passionate about the fire brigade and do you bring sound specialist knowledge in firefighting? Is operational and strategic leadership among your strengths? Do you maintain an overview even in hectic operational situations and make clear, safe decisions? Do you bring experience in operational planning and leadership? Do you motivate, promote, and develop your team with passion and tact? Do you enjoy taking on responsibility – also for budget, resources, and further development? That you represent the fire brigade confidently towards internal and external partners and move confidently in German and French is self-evident.
